Privacy Policy
Understand what happens to your information when you create, save and share a resume exhibition.
Information you provide
Resumesium processes account identifiers and account details supplied by our sign-in provider; the resume text, contact details, work history and links you enter; your template choices; and project, publication and generation-request records. Include only information you want the service to process. Avoid identification numbers, financial information, health information and confidential employer or client material.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate you, save and edit your projects, render previews, publish the content you choose to publish and operate the service. Hosting and authentication systems also process technical information needed to deliver requests, diagnose errors and protect access.
Service providers and imports
The deployed service uses Cloudflare for hosting and data storage and Clerk when account sign-in is enabled. These providers process information necessary for their services. If you choose GitHub import, we retrieve public profile information from GitHub and save the import request and resulting project. Information may be processed outside your country, depending on provider configuration. This notice does not promise a particular storage region or provider retention period.
Storage in your browser
Sign-in uses browser storage and cookies needed for authentication. The resume editor also keeps a recovery copy of form entries in this browser tab using session storage. Recovery copies are eligible for restoration for up to eight hours; expired copies are removed when the recovery logic next runs. This is not a promise of automatic erasure at exactly eight hours. Use care on shared devices and sign out when finished.
Retention and deletion
Saved resumes remain in active service storage until you delete them. Unpublishing is not deletion. Use Delete in your private workspace to remove a project, its public links and embeds, and its source resume when no other project or generation request uses that source. Linked completed import and generation records are also removed. This does not delete your account, other projects, unrelated requests, provider logs, backups or copies held by others. Account deletion and requests involving those other records require contacting the operator; their retention periods have not yet been finalized. Unsaved browser copies in other tabs must be discarded separately. Applicable rights and necessary identity verification depend on your circumstances.
Security and your choices
The service uses account access controls for private projects. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You can edit your resume, choose which contact fields to display and unpublish an exhibition. Do not publish information you need to keep confidential.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the described practices change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes may require additional notice or consent under applicable law.

Operator and contact details are pending confirmation. Please do not send sensitive resume information through an unverified contact channel.
